Debit MasterCard® Compromise - 01/22/2009

We have been informed by MasterCard of a large-scale account data compromise by Heartland Systems™, a major national payment processor, involving all credit and debit card brands, including Central Bank Debit MasterCards.

The breach involves millions of card accounts across all major payment brands.

In response, Central Bank is taking immediate action to protect any of our customers whose card information may have been compromised in this event. We will notify you if your card number information may have been compromised as a result of this breach. We will also issue you a new Central Bank Debit MasterCard with a different card number.

However, it is always a good idea for all customers to review their Debit MasterCard activity to determine if there has been any unauthorized activity.
